The software adapts to you, not the other way round
Most ERP implementations follow the same pattern. The system arrives with a predefined way of working, and the business is reorganised around it. Your people end up working the way the software expects, rather than the way your business actually needs. Strengths that took years to build get lost, because the standard has no place for them.
We turn that round. We start with your real process: how an order comes in, which approvals it needs, how you cost and schedule work, which special cases keep coming up. Only then do we look at how Odoo can represent it. Where the standard fits, we use it unchanged. Where it does not, we build a separate module instead of bending your process into shape.
Odoo suits this approach well, because it is open source and modular. Sales, purchasing, stock, accounting, projects and manufacturing all work on the same set of data, and every module can be extended without touching the core. That is what decides whether a project holds up over the years: change the core, and the next version upgrade becomes a serious problem.
Honesty runs in both directions. Not every business needs a full ERP, and not every quirk is a strength. If a process is awkward only because there was no other way years ago, we will say so. What makes your business distinctive stays. What is simply dead weight does not need to be cast in software.
Our Odoo services
Implementation and initial setup
We map your processes, choose the modules that fit and set the system up so that it follows the way you work.
Custom module development
Missing functionality is built as a cleanly separated module, following Odoo conventions. The core stays untouched.
Customising existing modules
Fields, views, workflows and permissions adjusted to your practice, without overwriting the standard.
Documents and print templates
Quotes, invoices and delivery notes in your own company layout, showing the details you actually need.
Data migration
Master data and open transactions taken over from legacy systems, checked and cleaned up rather than imported raw.
Hosting, updates and support
Hosting, backups, version upgrades and ongoing care, so your installation stays current and stable.
Standard, configuration or a custom module
Once a process is settled, the next question is how to build it: with Odoo out of the box, with configuration, or with programming. The higher up that list the answer sits, the cheaper the result and the less maintenance it needs. The order matters: the process comes first, then we choose the means. Never the reverse.
We turn down work that changes the Odoo core directly. Such changes cannot be carried over cleanly at the next version jump and turn every update into a project of its own.
Connecting Odoo to the rest of your IT
Odoo rarely stands on its own. Its built in interface can read and write almost every area of data, and we use exactly that to connect your existing systems instead of replacing them.
Connect your online shop so that orders, stock levels and prices stay in step.
Hand data over to your tax adviser or accounting system, in the format your adviser expects.
Shipping providers for labels, tracking numbers and status updates.
Link machines, scales and scanners from production and the warehouse to Odoo.
A custom app or web interface for field service and the workshop, running on Odoo data.
Bring your mail system, calendar and document storage into the transactions themselves.
How an Odoo project runs
First conversation and assessment
We work out which areas Odoo should cover and whether the system is the right choice at all. We ask that question deliberately at the start.
Process review
We look at how you work today and assign every requirement to one of the routes: standard, configuration or a custom module.
Setting up a test system
You get a working installation with your own data early on, so you can try the system out in daily use.
Development and customisation
Configuration and modules are built in short stages, each one with feedback from your team.
Training and switchover
User training, data migration and a go live date that fits your financial year and your workload.
Support in daily operation
After that we take on support, updates and further development if you want, with a named contact.
The technology around Odoo
Odoo is built on Python and PostgreSQL, both part of our daily toolkit. We develop modules to the conventions of the system, so any Odoo developer can maintain them later. It usually runs in Docker on Linux, with separate test and production environments.

What a tailored Odoo solution gives you
One system instead of many isolated tools
Sales, stock, purchasing and accounting all work on the same set of data.
Built to stay upgradable
Because we leave the core alone, the move to a new Odoo version stays plannable.
A fit for your processes
The changes follow how you actually work, not whatever happens to be easiest to build.
No dependence on us
Odoo is open source and our modules are documented. You can change provider at any time.
An honest check first
If Odoo is too big or too small for your case, we say so before you spend money.
Everything from one provider
Server, network, backup and application all come from the same contact in Berlin.
Common questions about Odoo
That depends mainly on the number of modules and the amount of customisation. A modest start with sales, purchasing and stock costs far less than a project with manufacturing, time tracking and custom industry modules. After the process review we give you a reliable figure, before any development work begins.
The Community edition is open source and enough for many businesses. Enterprise adds further modules, a reworked interface and vendor support, but charges a licence fee per user. We check which version works out cheaper for the functions you need, and we will not push you towards a licence.
Odoo releases a new major version every year. Because our changes sit in separate modules, an upgrade means checking and adjusting those modules specifically, instead of rebuilding the whole installation. That keeps the effort predictable. It looks rather different if someone has worked in the core in the past.
Yes, that happens regularly. We inspect the installation, review the modules, the customisations and the database, and tell you what condition everything is in. We often find core changes left over from earlier projects. We then show you what it would take to move those into clean modules.
You can choose between a server on your own premises, our data centre in Germany or Odoo Online. If we host it, we set up daily backups and test regularly that they can be restored. A backup that has never been tested is not a backup.
A lean implementation with a few modules and no special development is often ready in six to ten weeks. With custom modules, data migration from a legacy system and training for several departments, expect a few months instead. We provide a test system considerably earlier.
Is Odoo right for your business?
A new implementation, a project already under way or an installation nobody looks after any more: tell us where you stand. We will look at it and give you an honest recommendation.
